Sandicor RETS Launched
With the mandate by the National Association of REALTORS® that all multiple listing services (MLS) provide data in the RETS format by mid 2009, The Brokers Edge has began mapping RETS is several major markets.
Sandicor RETS
Our first completed RETS system was in San Diego for SANDICOR. The San Diego Board has been working on changing their data format most of this year and officially pulled the plug on the ftp transfer of IDX data on May 27, 2008.
While the transformation was not without issues problems are leveling out and the influx of current data has stabilized.
Our San Diego IDX clients now enjoy the same services and features using the UltimateRETS™ as they have enjoyed with the UltimateIDX™ for almost two years now.
Custom RETS Client Server
One of the issues we experienced with the retrieval of the RETS data from SANDICOR was that none of the existing client servers worked properly. And we tried them all. So we wrote a custom RETS client server from scratch that after some additional testing will be available to the public.
Summary
Once again the staff at The Brokers Edge has come through for our Clients with the SANDICOR RETS and with the launch of the UltimateRETS™ project.
